Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination strategies related to biosecurity regulations and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and share intelligence, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the full intelligence cycle, ensuring that findings are effectively communicated to leadership teams and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership teams based on data-driven insights, leveraging expertise in AI and Machine Learning to improve intelligence processes.
  • Develop and lead intelligence projects, including creating project plans and documentation, and mentoring and training officers to cultivate an insights-driven culture.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence roles, particularly within the government or biosecurity space.
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.
  • Ability to communicate findings and guide strategic decision-making, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa, and ability to pass a criminal history check.
