About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Kellyville home. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and nutrition services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food to residents in a safe and hygienic manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation under the direction of the Chef
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and receive goods as required
- Record temperatures and complete checklists as necessary
- Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to achieve our goals and objectives
- Interest in food, nutrition, and general well-being
- Ability to work as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
- Valid work permit and current police check
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination, including booster
