The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and tailoring support to meet their unique requirements.
- Implementing individualized plans for clients, fostering a sense of connection and community engagement.
- Providing holistic support, encompassing daily living needs, social support, transportation, and community participation.
- Working collaboratively with clients to set and achieve their goals, ensuring alignment with their NDIS plan.
- Embracing flexibility and adaptability, working in various settings, and providing both support work and assistant nursing services.
Essential Requirements:
- A current full driver's license and own vehicle.
- Comprehensive car insurance.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check from Service NSW.
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Previous experience in manual handling, bowel care, and challenging behaviors.
- Prior experience in complex care is preferred.
This is a casual employment opportunity offering an attractive hourly rate based on experience and availability.
