Amana Living is seeking an experienced and proactive Physiotherapist to join our team in providing physiotherapy services to residents within our residential care facilities.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing holistic care plans, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to enable residents to maintain mobility, reduce falls risk, and maximise quality of life.
The role requires superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to facilitate positive outcomes. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to the development and monitoring of group exercise programs in assigned residential care sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' mobility, falls risk, and physical ability
- Develop holistic, individualised care plans in partnership with residents, carers, and Amana Living team
- Provide individualised physiotherapy interventions to enable residents to maintain mobility, reduce falls risk, and maximise quality of life
- Monitor treatment objectives and interventions to ensure their continued application, efficacy, and outcomes
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of group exercise programs in assigned residential care sites
