Volunteering at an op shop is a fantastic way to gain retail experience and develop your skills while making a positive difference in the community.

We are seeking a volunteer retail assistant to join our team at our Brighton store.

This role offers opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and skill development in a fun and supportive environment.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of children.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store display.

Training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and competent in your role.

Flexibility is key, with shifts available on Saturdays from 9:30am-12:30pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm.

This opportunity allows you to make a real difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable retail experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, basic numeracy and literacy skills, and reliable transportation to Brighton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service
  • Process sales and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a visually appealing store display

Requirements:

  • Availability to volunteer on Saturdays
