About the Role:

  • Undertake routine maintenance and servicing on a wide range of heavy military vehicles, including 4WDs, trucks, tracked and armoured vehicles, infantry personnel carriers and even armoured tanks.
  • Clean and inspect repaired or replaced components
  • Repair or replace worn or faulty components by disassembling assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials
  • Test electrical systems such as lighting, ignition and electronic fuel injection

About You:

  • Hold a Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification or equivalent level
  • Demonstrate experience in inspecting, repairing and maintaining Light, Medium and Heavy vehicles
  • Possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
