At Boretech Contracting, a reputable civil engineering and construction firm, we are seeking a Construction Manager / Director to lead our operations. With a strong foundation in installing underground services for telecommunications and utility networks, Boretech has expanded its capabilities and workforce significantly.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage significant infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive management and executive-level experience in construction services across various sectors including Telecommunications, Electrical, Gas, Water, and Sewerage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate construction activities.
- Collaborate efficiently with Technicians, Drillers, Drainers, Engineers, and Site Managers/Supervisors.
- Recruit full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, coordinating their schedules effectively.
- Negotiate contractual terms, draft agreements, and assess and mitigate potential risks.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of all stages of the infrastructure construction process, from initial planning to project completion.
This position is full-time, requiring 38 hours of work per week. A competitive remuneration package will be discussed with the successful candidate.
