Culinary Arts Position

We are seeking an accomplished culinary professional to join our team as a skilled Chef. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in creative cooking and leadership.

This position involves honing your culinary skills through planning, directing, and executing food preparation and cooking activities. You will be responsible for determining presentation and creating visually appealing displays, estimating supplies and costs, and inspecting equipment and work areas for compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include instructing cooks in preparation and presentation of food, monitoring sanitation practices, ordering supplies, and preparing and cooking food of all types. You will also supervise and coordinate cook activities, collaborate on recipe development, check food quality and quantity, and demonstrate new cooking techniques.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of recipes and menus, record production data, and oversee kitchen operations and team management.

To succeed in this role, you will require relevant commercial cookery qualifications, a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef, and expertise in tandoori cooking. Commercial experience using kitchen equipment is essential, as well as knowledge of modern Indian cuisine and ability to work with proteins and operate a Tandoori oven.
