Support Worker Position Available

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to provide assistance and support for a child living with ASD and developmental delays in Loganholme. This is an ongoing role requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to suit both the participant and support worker.

The responsibilities of this role include managing daily household tasks such as cleaning and organisation, supporting the participant with personal care needs, supervising and contributing to learning and development, including homework and daily routines, providing safe and structured support tailored to children with ASD and developmental delays, encouraging skill-building, independence, and engagement in daily activities, and collaborating with families and our team to ensure consistent support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy, with experience supporting children with complex care needs, ability to safely supervise and contribute to learning and development, skills in personal care support and daily routine management, and a friendly and non-judgmental approach.

Requirements:

  • NDIS Compliance requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Current First Aid and CPR, ABN (for contractors), Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
