About the Apprenticeship

A Light Vehicle Apprenticeship provides the opportunity to build practical and theoretical knowledge of cars across 4 years through on-the-job training and theory studies at TAFE.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minor servicing of light vehicles
  • Remove and replace broken or defective vehicle parts
  • Test electrical systems and diagnose issues
  • Assist and observe mechanics
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, move and deliver cars, detail vehicles
