About Your Role

As a Junior Associate – Fixed Income, your role is to support a team of relationship managers in managing their books of clients and achieving sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high level of client service, particularly to a large private client customer base, and resolving any complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of credit markets, global macro-outlook, and the specific products made available by FIIG.
  • Becoming familiar with FIIG's tools to facilitate bond portfolio construction and trade suggestions, and consistently updating and maintaining FIIG's client relationship Management Software (CRM).
  • Attending and contributing to regular sales and client meetings, including the morning meeting.
  • Assisting the sales team in achieving revenue, client service, and client acquisition targets.
  • Supporting communication between the front and back office to ensure sales processes are adhered to in accordance with the national sales process.
  • Using your initiative to support the sales team by performing analysis of client data and records from within CRM, generating trade ideas, and drafting sales notes.
  • Acting in a professional and efficient manner, supporting your team in delivering private wealth management solutions to FIIG clients, including all aspects of administrative support.
About You

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with:

  • 1-2 years of corporate experience, although not essential.
  • Experience working in finance, sales, or other customer service roles.
  • A degree in finance or mathematics, with an RG146 qualification highly regarded.
  • A desire to work in financial markets, with an interest in direct client service/advice.
  • A team player with a good attitude and energy, who will contribute positively to a strong culture within FIIG.
  • The ability to display initiative and independence in your work.
