About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cook at Kids Club Killara, a beautiful Exceeding centre located in Sydney. As a Cook, you will play an active part in creating healthy menus for children of all ages.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement and evaluate the nutritional content of menus for children of all ages.
  • Experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control.
  • Cater for individual child requirements including allergies, specific dietary requirements and needs.
  • Participate in the early educational opportunities of teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.

About You

  • Current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery / equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Reliable transport to and from our centre.
  • Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
