About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Commercial – Economic Analysis team at the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) and the Offshore Infrastructure Registrar (the Registrar). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assessing and providing advice on the economic viability of offshore projects.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for leading and contributing to a high-performing team, managing workflows, and creating an effective team culture.

You will also be required to objectively assess evidence and apply facts within a legal and policy framework, sound judgement and an aptitude for pre-empting and creatively solving problems.

About the Team

The Economic Analysis team is responsible for assessing and providing advice on the economic viability of applicant's offshore projects. We work closely with teams responsible for licence and titles administration, engineering, geoscience, applicant suitability, and policy development, to provide advice to decision makers.
