Senior Energy Project Lead

We seek an accomplished Senior Energy Project Lead to spearhead the execution, optimization and management of BESS projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading project design and development, preferably in large-scale power generation or utility-scale renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic oversight for project delivery, ensuring comprehensive understanding of scope, schedule and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop effective communication plans and maintain regular updates with key stakeholders to guarantee seamless collaboration.
  • Apply engineering expertise to identify and address technical issues, leveraging subject matter experts as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment specifications align with project requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through consistent communication and a customer-centric approach.
  • Lead the review process for project design documents, including single line diagrams, communication layouts and equipment test reports.
  • Oversee BESS project commissioning activities, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project leadership roles, preferably in large-scale power generation or utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  • At least 4 years of direct experience in BESS or PV project development.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or international equivalent.
  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
