Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Coolum. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping older Australians maintain their independence and live at home for longer.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, with opportunities for flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, including domestic assistance, personal care, driving, and social support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Transport clients to medical appointments and social events
  • Engage clients in conversation and provide emotional support
  • Administer medication and manage complex care needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Driver's License and access to a fully insured vehicle
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current flu vaccine (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilience and ability to work independently
