Inspiring Educator Wanted: Screen and Media Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and innovative educator to join our team as a Screen and Media teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning, and has experience in designing and delivering engaging programs that utilize contemporary media technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in screen and media, and be able to foster entrepreneurial thinking and develop authentic projects through partnerships with industry, media, and community organisations.

They will also be responsible for empowering students to confidently create and showcase their knowledge and skills in Screen and Media projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging screen and media programs that utilise contemporary media technologies.
• Foster entrepreneurial thinking and develop authentic projects through partnerships with industry, media, and community organisations.
• Empower students to confidently create and showcase their knowledge and skills in Screen and Media projects.

Requirements:

• Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Screen and Media providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to design and deliver engaging screen and media programs that utilise contemporary media technologies (film, digital production, animation, sound, interactive design, VR/AR, social media content creation) to foster creativity and innovation.
• Demonstrated capacity to foster entrepreneurial thinking and develop authentic projects through strong partnerships with industry, media, and community organisations.
• Strong organisational and assessment practices which empower students to confidently create and showcase their knowledge and skills in Screen and Media projects.
