Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to join our team. As a Clinical Care Manager, you will play a key role in advising managers and care staff on clinical care delivery, providing education in clinical areas and processes, and facilitating clinical care delivery by carers.

Your main responsibility will be to work within the philosophy and core values of our organisation to ensure that the service is tailored to the needs of individual residents and delivered in a style that aims to maximise resident satisfaction.

You will be required to advise managers, SDAs/RNs and care staff in clinical care delivery aligned with our model of care, provide education in clinical areas and processes, and facilitate clinical care delivery by the carer.

Additionally, you will support and investigate clinical/resident incidents as required.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • RN qualified and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work well with other staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and develop a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance.
  • Experience managing a team of skilled professionals.
  • Empathy, compassion and patience.
