Biology Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Biology Teacher to join our vibrant P-12 independent College in the growing southwest of Sydney.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church
  • Evidence of innovative classroom practices
  • A high standard of competency and expertise as a classroom teacher
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn through effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Secondary teacher qualification, with Biology as method
  • Experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
  • Hold a valid and up-to-date NESA registration
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
