Apprentice Spray Painter Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest in the automotive industry to join our team as an Apprentice Spray Painter. You will be supported by our skilled team and acquire the knowledge of an automotive workshop, learning the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, refinishing of automotive spray painting.

  • We are looking for someone with a good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ideal candidate will have reliable and good attention to detail.
  • You must also have full appropriate Australian work rights.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Colour match vehicle
  2. Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  3. Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  4. Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  5. Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
  6. Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.
