Position Overview: We are looking for someone who will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will gain a strong understanding of our products and services, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for sales and customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product range, including Carmix, Orteco Piling Rigs, Drill Rigs, Piletest, spare parts, and equipment sales & hire.
- Customer Interaction: Contact leads generated from website and direct inquiries, providing them with detailed product information and conducting sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Quote Preparation: Prepare and submit accurate quotes to potential customers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, addressing their needs and providing ongoing support.
- Customer Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to identify additional sales opportunities, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Travel: Travel to customer locations as required to assess needs, attend commissioning, provide support, and further understand our products.
- Maintenance Enquiry Assistance: Assist customers with their spare parts requirements.
- Operational Support: Provide troubleshooting and operational support to customers.
- Sales Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client database.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular sales reports and analyze performance against targets.
- Improvement and Strategy: Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and continuously refine sales processes. Provide strategic direction as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams on marketing strategies to ensure a consistent approach to customer engagement.
- Order Processing: Ensure prompt and accurate processing of orders.
- Logistics Support: Assist with sales logistics, delivery, and shipping where required.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales, particularly in the equipment or construction industry.
- Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of technical products and services, with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex information.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer Relationships: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
