We are seeking an experienced Production Specialist - Manufacturing Process Expert to join our dynamic team in Sydney, Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the critical path and coordinating daily activities with offshore factories to ensure timely delivery of products. They will work closely with the design team to manage production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Coordinate with factories to plan and execute production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect production processes and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Establish relationships with suppliers to source materials and components, negotiating prices and lead times.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecasting demand to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Cost Management: Analyze production costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar production role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
