We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role

The Nurse Care Specialist will be responsible for delivering person-centered care that promotes resident independence, dignity, and well-being. This includes:

  1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify resident needs and develop individualized care plans;
  2. Maintaining accurate records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration, and treatment plans;
  3. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care;
  4. Providing education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics;
  5. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  2. Knowledge of aged care principles and practices, including the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care;
  3. Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a aged care environment;
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues;
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
