About the Role:
  • The Compliance and Audit Director will work closely with the organization's executives and business units to identify and mitigate material risks.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, internal audit processes, and compliance regulations.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role, preferably within the superannuation industry. They must be able to provide strategic advice, operational delivery, and develop appropriate frameworks for audit, risk, and compliance matters.

This is a 12-month contract position, requiring the candidate to work on-site 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week. The salary range is between $190,000 to $210,000 inclusive of super + GST per annum.

The Compliance and Audit Director will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and will be responsible for delivering an effective risk management framework, overseeing internal audit functions, and implementing quality control programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining risk management frameworks
  • Overseeing internal audit processes and ensuring compliance
  • Reporting on material risks to the Executive and Board

Mandatory criteria for this role include:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Applicants must be permanent residents or Australian citizens and undergo a criminal records check

Candidates must be based in or around Sydney and willing to work on-site. This is a mid-senior level position, and the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
