Program Assistant - School Holiday Program

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as casual program assistants.

As part of our Vacation Care team, you'll have the opportunity to engage children in a variety of arts, crafts, games, sports, excursions, and educational activities. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning of the Vacation Care Program to ensure a fun and engaging experience for children.
  • Supervise, care for, and actively interact with children in a range of activities, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop new skills.
  • Document children's play and learning to track their progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish relationships with families, the community, and local schools to promote collaboration and mutual understanding.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in OOSH Service or Long Day Care settings.
  • Able to build positive relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Possession of a Working with Children clearance number.
  • First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
