An exciting opportunity is available for a Warehouse Storeperson to become a vital part of our successful operations.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess experience in a dynamic warehouse or stores environment, with proficiency in operating forklifts and engaging in pick packing, as these tasks are essential to the position. Delivering exceptional customer service is also a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing the procedures for incoming and outgoing freight.
  2. Managing the picking, receipting, and invoicing of parts that are purchased and sold.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring their integrity, reporting any discrepancies in picking, packing, or damaged stock to the Parts Manager.
  4. Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
  5. Stocking shelves and placing inventory in the correct locations.
  6. Assisting with stocktaking, whether on an annual or rolling basis, in accordance with company procedures.
  7. Adhering to all opening and closing protocols to secure parts and store assets.
  8. Ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  9. Collaborating with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
  10. Handling the delivery and collection of goods.
  11. Maintaining a tidy and safe environment in both the store and yard.
Qualifications for Success
  1. Prior experience in a warehouse or related setting.
  2. Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  3. Proficiency in computer use.
  4. Exceptional customer service skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  5. Commitment to adhering to all Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
  6. Physical capability to lift heavy items and remain standing for extended periods.
  7. A valid driver's license is required.
  8. Certification to operate a forklift and the ability to handle other warehouse equipment.
  9. Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow directives from the branch manager.

This position entails a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a Saturday roster system of 1 to 2 shifts per month potentially required.
