Robotics System Integration Specialist

We are Amazon Robotics, a smart global team of doers passionate about applying cutting-edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges.

As a member of our team, you will work on system configurations, service integrations, and testing of software deployed at Amazon installations worldwide. You will drive robotics fleet retrofit projects to improve performance, reliability, and safety of globally deployed robotic and automation systems.

Your primary focus will be on new site launches, working closely with Software, Retrofit, Hardware, Reliability, and Maintenance engineers to own integration and retrofit projects from strategic planning through execution and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple robotics implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects to ensure program goals are met.
  • Collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) data and share success stories during lessons learned workshops.
  • Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify needs for new tools to support existing solutions.
  • Leverage guides, task lists, and configuration processes to deploy software at Amazon Robotics sites.
  • Monitor queues and respond to issues within defined SLAs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen, and Lean manufacturing).
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, SNS, SQS).
  • Knowledge of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working closely with development and business teams.
  • Certified in AWS services or Process improvement methodology.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a metrics-driven focus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon Robotics as a Robotics System Integration Specialist. We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
