Clinical Lead for Quality Care

This position offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team and play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of clinical care.
- Manage and coordinate the clinical needs of residents, including monitoring and tracking clinical indicators to achieve best practice clinical care outcomes.
- Work closely with the Clinical Care Manager to lead carer teams and meet all clinical needs of residents.
- Responsible for managing aspects of the assessment, documentation and submission of requirements within the facility.
- Support effective documentation and user support of policies, procedures, and IT system requirements.
- Coordinate assessment, care planning and review processes within the facility.
- Assist with the admission of new residents and initial consultations with residents and families.
- Evaluate accurate information recording and compliance with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Input and oversee facility team rosters to ensure optimal skill mix availability.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Care Coordinator or similar leadership position.
- An innate empathy for our residents and a commitment to continually improving the quality of clinical care provided.
- A current unrestricted Registered Nurse Div 1 qualification with the relevant registration body.
- Post graduate qualifications in aged care would be advantageous but not essential.
- Extensive knowledge of Aged Care clinical assessments, care plans, and accreditation compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and develop clinical leadership skills.
- High level computing skills to maintain documentation and reporting requirements.
