About the Role:


This Senior Project Officer position at the Victorian Department of Health is a fantastic opportunity to lead work in monitoring and improving community mental health services in Victoria.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the management of relationships, commissioning, service performance and interfaces with community mental health services.
  • Identify, monitor and develop appropriate responses to emerging service delivery issues.
  • Provide detailed advice, recommendations and program options and solutions to complex and sensitive issues.
  • Able to prepare complex briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to use direct and indirect influencing strategies.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels and from different backgrounds and organisations.
  • Highly developed skills in planning and managing risks and ensures the use of honest, transparent and appropriate purchasing processes.
