Lead Outside School Hours Care Coordinator

A permanent position is available for a passionate and experienced Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator/Supervisor to join our team.

Job Description:

The role of the Lead OSHC Coordinator/Supervisor involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality OSHC programs at Beldon Primary School in Beldon. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational procedures, and contributing to the development and implementation of innovative OSHC programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise OSHC staff to ensure safe and engaging programs for children
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's participation and progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must have relevant qualifications and experience in OSHC or a related field, including:

• A degree or diploma in children’s studies covering the age range of 4-14 years under the Australian Qualifications Framework

• Completed a minimum of 50% and continuing study towards completion of the relevant degree or diploma

• Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Cert III (CHC30221) or IV School Based Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care

• First aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certificate

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Clearance

• Knowledge of ACECQA regulations and the ‘My Time Our Place’ framework

• Good administrative and organisational skills

• WA Driver’s Licence and own transport
