Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to manage pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives. This includes successfully leading the project delivery process and driving completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives.
  • Deliver works that fully satisfy the UGLRL's and the Client's expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives.
  • Manage site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
  • Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
  • Rail Infrastructure Workers Card "RIW", plus relevant track access competencies (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period).
  • NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction "White Card" (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period).
  • Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
  • 8-15 years' post graduate experience with 8+ years site based.
  • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
