We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our People and Culture team in Sydney, NSW.
The successful candidate will contribute to all processes associated with the company's fortnightly, monthly, and annual payroll cycles, providing high-quality service to customers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include taking responsibility for all fortnightly payroll updates, managing the New Hire and Termination portfolio, and responding to payroll queries in a timely manner.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to identify, analyse, and assess risks inherent to the business, and implement appropriate controls/actions to manage risks for future sustainability.
About You
- You will have significant experience in a payroll function within a large and complex organizational structure of not less than 3000+ employees.
- Pays close attention to detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy, while effectively planning, prioritizing, organizing tasks, and managing competing resources and demands.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, presentation tools, reporting tools, and communication tools. Experience and proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
