Job Opportunity: Wavelength is seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team in a remote indigenous community in the Arafura Sea.

About the Role:

  • Duration: 108 days
  • Conditions: This is a 2 GP post, joining the clinic based in the community of Julanimawu (Nguiu) in the Arafura Sea.
  • Facilities: The clinic has nurses and a permanent doctor, with access to daily Air & Ferry Service from Darwin.
  • Credentials: FRACGP or VR Status, ALS, Ochre Card, and National Criminal Record Check are required.

About the Community:

  • The community is located on the traditional county of the Tiwi people, on Bathurst Island.
  • The first language spoken is Tiwi, with English being second.
  • Hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with on-call duties.
