Job Description
">We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Commis Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
]Key Responsibilities:
">- Assist in preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banqueting and buffet service]
- Maintain clean, hygienic and organized work environments to ensure efficiency within the kitchen and maintain HACCP standards]
- Perform tasks within a timely manner to ensure high guest satisfaction]
- Collaborate on stock rotation and stock control processes to reduce wastage and maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards]
- Promote and express passion for culinary excellence through consistently great food production]
About You:
">A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
]Strong desire to achieve high results driven by success
]Creative mindset with a passion and desire to learn
]Previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen or banqueting environment
]Excellent technical knowledge with experience in various cooking techniques and styles
]Understanding of workplace health and safety principles
]Food Safety Certificate is essential
]Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
