Senior Fraud Investigator

Experienced fraud investigators sought to detect and respond to internal and external payment fraud in a Federal Government Agency. The successful candidate will conduct complex criminal investigations, analyze information to produce accurate reports, and provide evidence in court.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday
- The hourly rate for this role is $60.26 plus superannuation benefits
- Location options include Geelong or Richmond
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews, prepare statements and affidavits as required
- Collect, manage and secure evidence materials for cases and briefs
- Analyze and process information to produce accurate and informative reports
- Represent the Agency in providing evidence in court
- Assist with search warrant execution and other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar fraud investigation role, including conducting interviews, preparing documents, and managing confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
- Experience providing evidence in court and preparing briefs would be advantageous
