We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Inspector to conduct compliance activities, provide advice on labour hire legislation, and lead training and mentoring programs.
About This RoleThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team in the Office of Industrial Relations. As a Principal Inspector, you will be responsible for producing high-quality case files, providing authoritative advice on their progression, and leading community education sessions in Queensland.
Main Responsibilities:
- Produce thorough case files and advise on their development.
- Provide expert information on labour hire legislation and deliver educational sessions across Queensland.
- Lead, train, and mentor other members of the Labour Hire Licensing Compliance Unit.
- Analyse compliance risks and make recommendations for mitigation.
We evaluate candidates based on their previous experience, knowledge, skills, and personal qualities. Your ability to conduct compliance activities, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong legislative interpretation skills will be assessed.
