Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our team at St Peter's Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture.

As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care for children, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and creating fun and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote learning and development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children and staff
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
