They collaborate closely with regulatory specialists to ensure compliance with market mandates and ongoing changes within the National Electricity Market (NEM).

The role involves overseeing updates to the SAP IS-U module, managing complex technology projects, and ensuring timely delivery that meets regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver SAP IS-U system changes aligned with updated legislation and market protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with regulatory and technical teams to translate regulatory changes into practical system solutions.
  • Manage project delivery using methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for optimal delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with AEMO and NEM requirements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Engage stakeholders across technical teams, executives, and external partners.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Deep understanding of the NEM, market rules, and operational processes.
  • Proven SAP IS-U experience, ideally with MSATS exposure.
  • Strong track record in delivering technology/business transformation projects in the energy sector.
  • Skilled at interpreting and implementing compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks.
