Cundall is a pioneering consultancy dedicated to advancing progress towards net zero and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Lead, you will join our team of experts in the Asia-Pacific region, working with clients to develop net zero carbon pathways, ESG strategies, and implementation plans.
This role requires a talented and motivated Associate/Associate Director-level expert to lead our growing ESG team across Australia and the APAC region. You will support clients in developing their ESG/sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, undertake materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, target setting, carbon accounting, and develop implementation and action plans.
As a project manager, you will oversee projects within our Australian offices and collaborate with our broader global sustainability team. Direct support for this role will be provided by a local Associate Director who will work closely with you to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes and facilitate your professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sustainability/ESG consulting and/or management, preferably across the built environment sector. They will possess strong leadership skills, ability to manage junior staff, represent the business positively to project teams and client organisations, and have expertise in preparing ESG strategies and implementation plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a highly motivated and growing team of ESG sustainability and climate change specialists
- Developing ESG strategies and implementation plans for clients
- Undertaking materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, target setting, and carbon accounting
- Collaborating with the broader global sustainability team to deliver projects
