English and Humanities Educator

SchoolHouse is partnering with a Prep-Year 12 Christian school in Brisbane to provide a high-quality education and academic rigour in a caring environment. Staff are actively involved in professional development and the College's organisational structure allows for high levels of collegiality.

Employment Requirements:

  • Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship
  • Model Christian living and character
  • Ability to integrate faith and learning in an authentic and engaging manner
  • Have a minimum of a Bachelor of Education or equivalent and/or qualifications in specialist teaching areas
  • Effective teaching practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of technological literacy
  • Prior experience teaching using iPads preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
  • Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or eligibility to gain)
