We are currently looking for experienced Broadcast Engineers with exceptional drive and work ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and brilliant technical minds to join our Australian team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while executing changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit.
  • Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a Broadcast Truck solo is essential.
  • Good understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
  • Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • VSM or TFC knowledge and experience with IP Technology is preferred.
  • Well organised and can prioritise work in order of on-air importance.
  • Positive attitude, able to work to explicit deadlines, can pick up new concepts rapidly and work closely with colleagues for long periods.
