The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a talented Junior Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist to support the P-8 Poseidon project at RAAF Edinburgh.

This role will contribute to cutting-edge projects that make a difference in Australia's Defence capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with stakeholders to implement information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

- Analyze and document information security events, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

- Evaluate and respond to emerging security issues, ensuring our systems remain secure.

- Participate in process effectiveness evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

- Contribute to the creation of security policies, audits, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

- Australian citizenship to meet Australian Government security clearance requirements.

- A working knowledge of the Australian Defence security framework and associated policies and procedures.

- Sound information security knowledge across various environments, including network connectivity, Windows Client-server systems, Linux Client-server systems, and more.

- Industry-recognised information security qualifications or relevant experience is desirable.
