Role Description

The primary goal of this position is to provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals within correctional facilities.

This entails delivering high-quality clinical and case management support to facilitate optimal outcomes for the clients of the Prison Mental Health Service.

  • Delivering prison mental health services during weekdays, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various sectors, including correctional centers and community support networks.
  • Implementing a holistic recovery approach, focusing on transition phases surrounding release from custody, to promote overall wellbeing.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Established clinical expertise in adult mental health, encompassing assessment and treatment of acute mental health issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling the development of rapport with clients and demonstration of empathy, patience, and respect.
  • Solid organizational and caseload management abilities to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
