Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be a key member of our team, working closely with warehouse staff, customer service, marketing, and sales to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role involves maintaining accurate records of materials movement, addressing any shortages or discrepancies, and resolving issues related to goods and products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient warehouse office administration procedures, ensuring timely reconciliation of containers, and producing daily reports on warehouse activity. They will also troubleshoot orders with stock or customer service issues, including damages, and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate records of materials movement and addressing any discrepancies
  • Ensuring timely container reconciliation and reporting
  • Developing and implementing efficient warehouse office administration procedures
  • Troubleshooting orders with stock or customer service issues, including damages
  • Managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts
  • Performing ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a warehouse or blue-collar environment
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and other productivity software
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
