Job Description

We are seeking a junior electrical engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing engineering assistance and support to project teams.
  • Assisting in estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work.
  • Acting as a technical resource for projects, by being familiar with drawings, project specifications, standards, and other technical requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors.
  • Assisting with technical investigations and commissioning activities.
  • Monitoring, distributing, and entering inspection test reports (ITRs), reviewing ITRs, and generating new ITR test packs to support project quality objectives.
  • Entering data and test sheets into PIMS, monitoring progress, and preparing reports.
  • Collating and constructing electrical MDRs.
  • Creating redline mark-ups of drawings.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has good communication and analytical skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer.
  • Experience working on construction mining projects.
  • Ability to maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF editors.
