About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Principal to join our Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who can drive school improvement, foster a positive school culture, and support the Principal in maintaining a well-run school.
The Deputy Principal will be responsible for:
- Leading and maintaining a well-run school, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff, and visitors.
- Maintaining strong relationships with all members of the school community, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve student learning outcomes and school operations.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their teaching practices and leadership skills.
- Supporting the Principal in leading the school community and making strategic decisions.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Proven experience in leading school improvement initiatives and developing strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Knowledge of Christian education principles and practices, with a commitment to upholding the school's Christian values.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with a preference for a postgraduate qualification in leadership, pedagogy, or business administration.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
