The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for managing and evolving our technology risk responsibilities, ensuring that our IT systems and processes are compliant with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve the technology 'first line' risk responsibilities by embedding the Technology Governance and Management Framework and Data Governance Framework into business processes.
- Develop appropriate risk metrics for risk appetite monitoring and preparation of appropriate risk reporting.
- Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and coaching to the Technology team on incident management, risk and control assessment, data governance, and business risk reporting.
- Support the technology team in ensuring that IT systems, processes, and practices comply with relevant policies, standards, frameworks, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate regular assessments to identify and uplift compliance practices as well as coordinate internal/external audit requirements.

We are looking for a highly experienced risk and governance professional who has a passion for technology and a strong understanding of operational risk management. You will have a proven track record of managing risk and compliance in a financial services environment, with experience in developing and maintaining effective risk management practices.
