Project Supervisor Opportunity

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to join our North West Branch - Service / Projects team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that involves supervising technicians on the job and ensuring the completion of project works on site. You will be responsible for the daily coordination of activities of Technicians in the delivery of quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports minor service project management within assigned territory by assisting with scheduling, estimating, manpower analysis, material logistics, establishing performance standards, etc.
  • Maintains strong relationships with customers to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction rating.
  • Assumes responsibility for being the first point of escalation for the administration team on technicians' behaviours/concerns.
  • Responsible for site set outs, program & sequencing updating, liaising with Contractor/supplier procurement and programming, contract and HSEQ administration, material take-offs when required, material ordering and daily diary log and notes, defect inspections and reports, invoice checking and coding when required, approval of timesheets, purchase orders and performs all other necessary administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a HVAC/Mechanical service technician, 2 years as a supervisor.
  • Refrigeration Licence – must be current.
  • Australian Restricted Electrical Licence – must be current.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of OH&S Requirement.
  • Strong diagnostics and fault-finding abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage and liaise professionally with Subcontractors and Clients on site.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Power Point.
  • White Card.
  • Police Check Clearance.
