Sustainable employment is a crucial aspect of our organisation's mission. As an Employment Consultant, your primary goal will be to empower individuals to achieve this objective.
Your role will involve meeting specific targets, providing tailored guidance and coaching, job placement, and ongoing support to your client group. Understanding the unique employment needs of your clients and collaborating with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity is key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet specific targets by providing effective guidance and support to clients
- Develop and implement tailored coaching plans to help clients achieve sustainable employment
- Collaborate with employers to identify suitable job opportunities for clients
- Experience in a similar role within Employment Services (highly advantageous)
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment (this will set you up for success)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and adaptability (no two days are the same)
- Attention to detail and skills in administration and use of IT systems
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to the role.
