Job Opportunity: Physical Education and Health Teacher

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our school community.

  • Teach Physical Education and Health to secondary students, promoting a love of physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, fostering positive relationships and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality lessons in Physical Education and Health, incorporating a range of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation, using data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school initiatives, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Support the integration of technology into the physical education program, enhancing student engagement and motivation.
Requirements:
  • Accredited Teaching Degree in Physical Education or Health Education.
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education and Health to secondary students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning, including Learning Management Systems and digital tools.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in Physical Education and Health Education.
