Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park is seeking a skilled Handyperson - Painter to join their team.

About the Role
  • As a proactive maintenance and painting professional, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, painting, and maintaining a preventative maintenance program throughout the property.
  • You will liaise with the Front Office team to log and complete maintenance tasks related to accommodation rooms and Hotel public areas.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including guests and team members, is essential.
  • Cost control measures and administration duties must be completed in a timely manner.
  • Company standards, systems, and procedures must be implemented and maintained.
About You
  • A positive and optimistic attitude is essential for success in this role.
  • You will have experience fixing day-to-day issues, such as lights, taps, and paint.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving is necessary.
  • Understanding the customer's perspective and maintaining the property to the highest standard is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
  • Knowledge and experience working with large plant equipment, such as boilers and chillers, is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of a trade and relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice are highly regarded.
